About

Me, my style

I’m John - I’ve been a wedding photographer for over a decade, documenting weddings across London, Surrey, and throughout the UK.

If you value photography that feels natural, considered, and genuinely reflective of who you are, my approach may be a good fit for you. I work quietly, blending seamlessly into your day so that nothing ever feels staged or interrupted. Rather than directing or orchestrating moments, I allow them to unfold - capturing the atmosphere, the emotion, and the details that make your wedding uniquely yours.

I’ll approach your wedding with care and intention to detail, working fluidly and unobtrusively, responding to what’s happening rather than following a fixed formula. This allows me to create images that feel elegant, timeless and honest.

After your wedding, you’ll receive a carefully curated collection of images that tells the story of your special day. Photographs that don’t simply show what happened, but bring you back to how it felt - the energy, the connection, the quiet little moments in between. Images you’ll always want to revisit and treasure forever.

FAQ,S

How do we book you?

A booking fee of £300 is first required, and then I’ll send you a contract.

How long do you spend with us on the day?

I can be with you from preparations until the first dance. I can stay for a little less time and can also shoot later into the evening if needed.

Do you work with a second photographer or videographer?

At smaller more intimate weddings I tend to work alone which allows me to be discreet. At larger weddings with over 100 guests I often work alongside a specielist film maker/photographer and trusted close friend. We’ve worked together many times. His style complements mine and working with him can add another valuable dimension to the record of your wedding day.

How many images do I receive?

When I’m working alone, for full day coverage, anywhere between 300 and 500 images.

Do you take family group photographs?

Of course, and they are important to have. I tend to shoot up to 6 so not to interrupt the natural flow of documentary coverage on your day.

How long will it take to receive our photos?

Your final gallery will be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks. This allows time to carefully create, select and edit your images. An expedited delivery option can be arranged for faster turnaround.

Do you have insurance?

I have professional indemnity and public liability insurance.

Do you shoot analogue film?

I would love to do that for you. There would be a small additional charge to cover the cost of me buying the film and the processing after the wedding.
