Elizabeth and Alexander’s wedding at Farnham Castle remains one of my favourites. I started the day photographing Elizabeth with her friends before heading off to spend some time with Alexander. After the church ceremony, we returned to Farnham Castle for the celebrations, including the much-loved canopies and a brilliant set of speeches. The speeches were a particular highlight. Elizabeth stood to say a few words herself before the best men brought things to a close, leaving the room full of laughter.

Later, I photographed Elizabeth and Alexander on the Great Hall dance floor. By that point, the formalities were over and the day was simply about two people enjoying being married, surrounded by the people they love.

That is the kind of wedding photography I love. Not just the big moments, but the feeling of the whole day.
