WEST DEAN GARDENS WEDDING
Helen & Thomas
It was a pleasure photographing Helen and Thomas special day in at West Dean Gardens in Chichester. As I look back through the pictures I realise how much I enjoyed being involved. Towards the end of the day I found working with the beautiful light really enhanced things, making everything a little more magical as I photographed them together. They were happily just being themselves and that was all I could have asked for.
The day also had some really nice colours on show. The first couple of things that come to mind is Thomas’s mother’s dress and the flowers. And another highlight for me was the wind after we had come out of the church. It aided me in getting one of my favourite images, which was Helen’s veil blowing in her new husband’s face with them both seeing the funny side.
When I look back through the last few years of wedding speeches, one of the first people that will no doubt come to mind is Helen’s dad. I’ve seen him speak twice now and always loved how he delivers his speeches. They are completely unique and for this one he really made me and others laugh a lot! It was very clear that there was lots of love in his words. I loved the rhyming about different things he remembers from the past as a father. Enjoy watching looking through some of my favourite images from the day.
Thank you so much for our fantastic photos. Our favourite is on the front of the card, It wasn’t easy to choose!! We will be ordering prints very soon.
Thank you again,
