Founded in 1998, Tythe Barn is run by the Deeley Family and is located on a working farm. Located in the Oxfordshire countryside, this beautiful barn venue has been carefully renovated and styled to throw a truly fabulous wedding.
Amongst the fairy lights and exposed wooden beams, Tythe Barn will have you feeling right at home – they can even make you fresh, stone-baked pizzas!
The impressive 14th century thatched-roof main barn is bursting with character, and a lot of the original building still stands today. Full of history and beauty, the barn has been brought back to life in a beautifully contemporary way that doesn’t compromise on its original charm and features. From the rustic Cotswold stone to the canopy of oak beams, it really is a picture-perfect spot to tie the knot. And, if you’d prefer a religious ceremony before heading back to the barn to celebrate, the stunning 12th century St Mary’s Church is just a short stroll away.
As well as the Main Barn space, this venue has The Cowshed, which was once used for animal feeding but is now a stylish space for your guests to gather in-between the ceremony and sit-down meal.
There’s also The Hovel, which is a beautiful room with panoramic windows. Whether you want to shelter from the sun, snow or rain, it’s got you covered. And finally, there’s The Shepherd’s Hut, which is a unique spot for the bride and groom to stay overnight on the farm.
