Hackney Town Hall Wedding
Sophie & Vivian

My first visit to Hackney town hall was a memorable occasion. Shortly after arriving, the council chamber filled up rapidly with friends and family before Sophie appeared. It was a lovely laid back ceremony with lots of smiles and emotion. Vivian’s Dad sang a song beautifully, moving everyone in the room. We then headed outside to form one of the longest confetti lines I have seen all season.

Having the space to work on the steps is a standout feature of this lovely venue. It gave me ample opportunity to capture some of my favourite confetti shots this year.

Sophie and Vivian then headed off to the London Fields Brewery, where the evening celebrations began, on a rickshaw, followed by me and the guests. It’s a cosy little venue where you hear the rumbling of trains overhead from the railway, which added to the atmosphere. It was a wonderful day.

Hackney Town Hall has to be one of my favourite venues for London wedding photos - there are also lots of great hotels nearby for your guests.

Thanks so much John - They’re great! :) :)
