Brympton House Wedding Photography

I’m John, a professional Somerset wedding photographer. Welcome to my Brympton House wedding photography page.

Located in Somerset, Brympton House provides exclusive use to couples for their wedding day, including the incredible medieval manor house which is set within 33 acres of stunning parkland.

They also offer 31 bedrooms on the estate, so your guests can get comfortable and stay the night. With a rich sense of history and stunning views that stretch across the lake and grounds, it’s no surprise many couples choose to say their vows here.

With three magical spaces to say “I Do”, you’re spoilt for choice when it comes to beautiful backdrops for your wedding photographs. There’s the church-style Castle House, which dates back to 1350, the incredible 13th century St. Andrews Church for religious ceremonies and a stunning open sided temple for outdoor weddings.

When it comes to dining, you have another three spaces to choose from including The Ballroom, The Salon and The State Dining Room. Each space offers a different ambience, but all are equally stunning.

The Great Stairs leading to the Ballroom, which hold the title for being the oldest and longest continuous wooden staircase in the UK, make for a stunning backdrop for wedding photos, as well as the Japanese Garden and Apple Orchard.

Wedding photography at Brympton House in Somerset

When getting married at Brympton House, you’ll want your photographs to capture the true essence of the venue and day.

My approach to wedding photography is often referred to as ‘reportage’ or ‘documentary’ style. I don’t ask you to pose awkwardly but instead take natural and authentic photos without getting in the way.

Think eyes meeting across the room, natural movement and honest smiles. My camera is always at the heart of the action with minimal interruption.
