Jennifer and Farid’s wedding was a lovely example of what I enjoy about photographing weddings at Northbrook Park.

The day began with Jennifer getting ready with her close friends. There was the usual mixture of excitement and anticipation, with everyone waiting for her father to arrive and see her for the first time.

From there, the day unfolded into a wonderful celebration surrounded by family and friends.

One of the things that particularly stayed with me was the warmth between Jennifer and Farid and the affection shown by the people around them. I was often photographing within earshot of conversations, and it was clear just how much their wedding meant to everyone there.

I also loved seeing two different cultures coming together throughout the day. Those moments of connection are exactly the kind of thing I look for when I’m photographing a wedding.

They’re easy to overlook on the day, but they become incredibly meaningful when you look back through your photographs years later.
