Farnham Bush Hotel wedding photography 

Olivia & Matthew

It’s been a while since I’ve photographed at the Bush Hotel in Farnham. So when I first heard from Olivia, I knew I had to find out more about what her and Matthew were planning. We were also able to meet before the day, which is something I’ve not had the pleasure of doing enough these days.

When the big day finally came, it was great to know that everything was taking place within close proximity, with the church only being a short walk away from the Bush Hotel. Lee and I started capturing Olivia's bridal preparations and Matthew and best man shortly after taking a walk to St. Andrew’s church in the centre of Farnham. I’ve always loved the surrounding area of St. Andrew’s church visually. What made it all worth it on this day was seeing Olivia walk down the aisle with her dad. I’ve always felt the need to feel something when I’m photographing, and the way Olivia looked in her dress as she walked towards Matthew really was breathtaking. After the service it was time for some confetti at the church gate, also celebrated by a lovely lady Kathleen, who appeared smiling at her front door as the wedding car moved off to the Bush Hotel for the afternoon and evening celebrations. Family and friends mingled together whilst being very well looked after with a good selection of Canapés being served.

There were some lovely moments during the speeches, which brought about some of my favourite photographs from the wedding. We then moved on to the new look Redgrave Suite where the first dance took place. Shortly after family and friends filled the dance floor. A great end to a wonderful day.
